Rose Festival Time in Portland

Rose Festival time in Portland, Oregon is full of fun and roses.
There is a rose show at Lloyd Center which has an array of gorgeousness.
They melt the ice on the ice rink just for the show.
When my children were young we would adventure to the Junior Rose Parade.
So off I went yesterday with my little guy.
I hadn't been there in so many years.
D loved the music and the marching bands, clapping for each as they passed by.
It is a children's parade and just full of fun.
 Clowns for sure!
 Dancing girls!
 Moms, pets, and decorated bicycles!
Oh here is a marching band now!  Time to clap along.
 Princesses!
And more clowns!
Oh we had such fun on our adventure of creating memories
and for me remembering past adventures.

There was also a parade last Saturday evening, called the Starlight Parade.
This coming Saturday is the big parade, called the Grand Floral Parade.
A carnival on the river front in downtown too.
It is a festive time to visit Portland, see the roses and just enjoy the celebration.
