Tea Lattes and Friends to Delight

I know I just shared this photo a week ago,
but after my first visit to Steven Smith Teamakers new tasting room,
I just knew a couple friends would love visiting here too.
Tucked right there in that corner yesterday we visited, sipped lattes,
and enjoyed the visit.

Tea shops seem to be expanding their offerings of tea lattes.
For so long it was chai latte only.
Three friends together catching up on our lives and lattes was truly a delight.

One friend ordered a regular chai latte.
One friend ordered Lover's Leap, which had their Lover's Leap tea, lavender, rose, and osmanthus
syrup, steamed milk, paired with dark chocolate and topped with an edible flower.
I had Darjeeling Creme Caramel, which had second flush Darjeeling tea,
burnt caramel sauce, and a pinch of Jacobsen's sea salt.
What a treat! Deliciousness!
Good company and Good tea make the best of a delightful week day morning.
Find a place in your neighborhood and enjoy a cup of tea soon, it will delight your heart.

What a perfect way to spend the afternoon! I'm a huge fan of chai tea lattes and would love to try some other tea flavored lattes. (The edible flower is really pretty.) Thanks for sharing!

What great fun and such a nice setting to catch up with friends. We are home from Missouri tonight Marilyn. I say "home" in a loose sense of the word as we closed on our house in Mo last Friday and moved in 1 truck load. Now we are back here to work on this house and pack more. Tired - going to bed! Thanks for linking. I had to do the internet at the grocery store there and last night my husband got impatient so wanted to respond to you tonight!
