Sorry dear M...I'm late to the tea party AGAIN! Sorry dear Marilyn, things just seem to have slowed me down, especially Blogger/Safari problems on the computer, mostly commenting issues. There is illness in the family in England, next door neighbor friend hospitalized and very ill, cat sitting for other neighbor, grandkids' problems, weather related slowdowns, shoulder pain continuing, and of course old age not being kind in many ways! Sorry to sound so negative - I so dislike being in this kind of funk.

Yes I do know about the water temp. for tea - and right now I'm ready for a hot cuppa of something bold to get me going.
Lovely photo - fire will burn in our hearth tonight and the coming days now the chill is on!
Love, MaryMaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11915239653283205065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615274882068597937.post-58090165572453538982019-01-08T11:25:07.404-08:002019-01-08T11:25:07.404-08:00Happy National Hot Tea Month! I admire the leaves before and after I brew the tea, and enjoy the tea hot when it's freshly brewed, and also cold if I don't finish the mug! Teh hitam seduh. A classic black tea. With special thanks and appreciation to my niece's fiance.Rosemaryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03394597758723246533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615274882068597937.post-31873775087112813992019-01-08T02:10:20.722-08:002019-01-08T02:10:20.722-08:00A whole month to celebrate hot tea--HOORAY! I'm trying to prepare green tea better, and not let the temp of the water get too high. I think that's why I've not "liked" green tea as much, I often get it wrong--and it goes bitter. :/ Here's to growing in better friendship with green teas this year! ;) Happy Week, my friend ((HUGS)) Tracyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09179096002434748927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615274882068597937.post-12471860060757487102019-01-06T16:50:55.886-08:002019-01-06T16:50:55.886-08:00Happy New Year! Maybe I'll do a post as well. Jess got me the English Breakfast tea, and it's a whole leaf tea blend, so I've been sipping on that. Marilyn, I love this picture, and your charming copper tea pot.

I hope the new year is being good to you so far.

~SheriRed Rose Alleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02685747099912989862noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615274882068597937.post-29414290244788102452019-01-05T14:42:10.123-08:002019-01-05T14:42:10.123-08:00I have a cup of black tea in a cup next to me just...I have a cup of black tea in a cup next to me just now. I use tea bags when I need to drink decaf tea, in the afternoons. In the mornings, loose leaf is wonderful. I like to be able to actually drink it without burning me out!

And January is a perfect month for that and I think I'll make a cuppa right now!Jeaniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17482528482559445943noreply@blogger.com
