I hope we get a good crowd once it turns dark.

Hugs Mary - tonight 'the witch' in black with a mask.

P.S. Candles in lanterns on the porch - 'carved' papier maché lighted pumpkins along the porch rail, and bags of candy hopefully gone soon so Bob doesn't eat them, haha!Maryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11915239653283205065noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1615274882068597937.post-45680925439186701682018-10-31T14:21:40.825-07:002018-10-31T14:21:40.825-07:00Happy Halloween!

I ha...What a wonderful poem for Halloween Marilyn🎃
I haven’t heard it before.
There was no Halloween when I was a child - just All Hallows’ Eve - the night before All Souls Day on 1st November.
Followed by All Saints Day on the 2nd November.

How things have changed! This of course is inevitable as the years and generations move on, however it’s the commercial aspect I’m not so comfortable about.
I could go on and on but I won’t, as I’m sure most of my readers think the same way and it’s not for me to preach - I’m an observer...... just saying !!!
Xx

Roses, Lace and Brocantehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11821168025062104166noreply@blogger.com
