Final Monday Linen Day

Did you think I forgot you?
I was gone and now am back for the final Monday Linen Days.
I have thought and thought about what someone might enjoy
for the give away to celebrate the final day.
Finally I decided to give a pretty apron, two embroidered doilies, and a surprise tablecloth.
I had to give something with embroidery as I had one reader comment I had inspired her
to start embroidery again.
I haven't picked the table cloth yet, because I want to pick with the winner in mind.
So for everyone that leaves comments here today and until Thursday morning,
I will be drawing a special linen gift.
The drawing will be announced Thursday morning (PST) and sent on Friday.
I hope you have enjoyed the Monday Linen Days series.
I have enjoyed sharing my linen collection with you.
There are more Monday series in mind for the future.

  3. I love embroidered tablecloths, I have some which my grandmother embroidered many years ago, I hope my children cherish them as much as I do.

I do so like the idea of a give-away.

  4. I just washed a small cloth today that had been on my hall table. I cross stitched it. Hopefully one of my children/grandchildren will treasure it as well one day.

  5. I have so enjoyed my Mondays with you Marilyn. Each one has been a little treat.

I'm happily embroidering away on my first project in decades and recently found some wonderful vintage transfers of - YES!! - teapots!!! Can't wait to get started on them.

  9. Thank you for linen Mondays...it inspired me to take out of the cedar chest a number of linens left to me by my grandmother. I truly have enjoyed seeing them on various tables around the house and the fond memories I have of Meme.

  10. The linens have been beautiful! I just went to a flea market and picked up a few small pieces this weekend. Is it possible to have too much linen? I don't think so!

I've just started learning how to embroider this summer, I'm loving it so far, so now I'm going to have to read backwards thru your blog to see all of your linens.
