If a little boy were to sail away,
Yeo ho for the sailor boy!
He'd certainly come to France some day,
Yeo ho for the sailor boy!
Yeo ho for the sailor boy!
He'd certainly come to France some day,
Yeo ho for the sailor boy!
Yet the sailor boy would not feel alone,
Yeo ho for the sailor boy!
For in France he'd find some good friends of his own,
Yeo ho for the sailor boy!

To Peter and John is the nursery rhyme.
This morning I leave for France for three weeks.
My posts will be sporadic during that time, but I
hope to share a few stories, maybe a friend, and some
pictures along the way. It is indeed a trip of a lifetime.
Have a wonderful trip. I look forward to reading about it!

Again, my good wishes go with you Marilyn - may every moment be full of French beauty which will last you for a lifetime....or until the next trip!
ReplyDeleteWhen you reach La Madone, tell Nathalie I said "bonjour" - make sure you check out the laundry and the linens, she's amazing, and beautiful.
"Oh the places we go"..........and may the things we see remain tucked away in a secret memory corner to enhance our days when we return home.
Stay safe......enjoy!
Mary.

ReplyDeleteDarling, have a wonderful time in Paris and drink lots of tea & champagne. Besides Mariage Frėres, do check out Angelina, Carette, Place Numero Thé, A Priori Thé and of course Les Nuits des Thés…these are my favourite tea salons in Paris.
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely time and a safe trip.
