Autumn Tea Outdoors

One of my most favorite things to do is share tea outdoors.
Last week taking a short break to prepare for the season ahead
I had the opportunity to do so.

What are you doing for yourself and to prepare for the season ahead?

  1. The Halloween banner is on the front door and the witch flag is flying from the balcony. Temps are cooling ... some ... high only 90!!!!!! Love the Tea Haiku!

  2. Love your photo! I'm trying to catch up with myself after my trip. My sweetheart left early this morning for deer hunting in Eastern Oregon. I plan to make autumn changes in my home and hope to do a project or two while he's away!

  4. Dear Marilyn,

I have been very absent from blogs this week. I miss you all as my attention is pulled elsewhere. I just did some catching up here and I'm enthralled with the sand castle you photographed. Reminds me of my youth growing up in San Diego. Your fall tea is lovely - so simple and sleek and inviting.

    Happy Autumn,
    Annie

  9. Hot tea in autumn...mmm... it tastes so good! Lots more hot tea-, making here at the moment. The weekend here was a busy one with autumn preparations--Saturday was making a start on garden clean up for end of season. And Sunday was clearing out closets and changing from summer clothes to winter ones. It's getting chilly here! LOVE the new banner, Marilyn! :o) ((HUGS))

  13. What a lovely idea. My husband and I are going on a bird walk and picnic on Wednesday. Think I'll bring a thermos of tea! I've been crocheting a new teal scarf as the nights grow chilly. Love this time of year!

  17. Just love your photos - this is a very enticing picture...wishing I had a moment today to get outdoors for a last "of the season" tea...woke up feeling melancholy that this is the last week of October - knowing what's behind it in terms of weather, dark, long nights...Winter!! I have a busy week...but I think I will try to schedule a small moment to at least sit on my porch swing with a cup of tea and perhaps a cucumber sandwich or two and savor what's left of Fall!
