Sing, Sing a Song
When my children were young, my daughter just reminded me, I sang this song often. Listening to it yesterday, it once again made my heart sing. Sadly Karen Carpenter left us too soon, but this song still rests in my heart. I hope it brings a smile to your face today. Sending great love and a song for you today.

That is a sweet song and I remember it well. I am sure I will be thinking about it all day long!! :-)
ReplyDeleteThat song did make me smile. I just wish I had sung it to my children, too! Thanks, Linda
ReplyDeleteI still miss the Carpenters. And my husband thinks I am nuts for this, but one of my all-time favorite movie scenes is in "Tommy Boy" when David Spade and Chris Farley are driving down the road and bawling their eyes out while singing "Superstar" by the Carpenters!
ReplyDeleteI love the Carpenters. Love them. Have you ever heard his interview with Terry Gross? It's wonderful. I bet you could still find it on NPR.
ReplyDeleteI love this song, too! She has such a deep, rich voice.
