I will tell you, "No, I don't collect teacups".
I only have this one Christmas teacup.
It is so fun to bring it out for the holidays.
I do believe it is beginning to look like Christmas.
But for sure I don't collect teacups or teapots.
Do you?
Laughing!
This is my kitchen cupboard.
My momma always told me that if you have at least three of something... it's a collection. :-)
ReplyDeleteLOL about the teacups! I do like your Christmas one.
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh, Marilyn. I don't collect teacups either, but somehow I have ended up with five. It's a tiny collect for sure but since it adds up to more than two, I guess you could call it "A COLLECTION". LOL
ReplyDeleteI believe you, my friend! You don't collect teacups and teapots - they collect you! Having been in your home I would have to say they certainly do feel right at home with you so don't be surprised if more show up! (By the way, I don't collect them, either, but I've been amazed to see how many like to gather round me from time-to-time.)

Tee hee sweet one...your cupboard looks just like mine!!! Hugs and love for a great weekend. xoxo
ReplyDeleteyou know I just don't have the room or I would for sure. I love them and there are so many different fun ones you can find. .....only one. lol.
ReplyDeleteI don't collect things either--they just find me all on their own!! Very cute...I think I even have the same little sparkling ornament! ♥♫
ReplyDeleteI said I would never collect teapots after having seen someones kitchen that had over 100... I only have about 10. That doesn't count as a collection, does it?! HOWEVER, I LOVE teacups. They are smaller and more useful. I found a new one today at Goodwill - a Bridgewater! 99 cents. YES, 99 cents! This is the second one I have found and I look everytime I go. This one says "I LOVE YOU MORE THAN ELVIS" and I never had a liking for Elvis, but the I love you really got to me.
ReplyDeleteI agree, you do not have a teacup collection. You have a teacup addiction. Come one, fess up -- I bet you have more hiding...
ReplyDeleteThe only teacups I have (apart from china sets) are those from my mom. They come out periodically. But teapots -- that's another thing. antique, holiday, whimsical, the main criteria is that I like them.
ReplyDeleteI notice apple dishes in your cupboard -- one of those great regrets of having a parent's estate sale when you are too young was letting my mom's apple dishes go. Especially the tea parts. I don't have autumn leaf, but do have quite a bit of Hall (tulip and crocus). I love it!
No matter how hard we try....some of us just have collection in our DNA. Pretty...pretty as always.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous
ReplyDeleteI love all you share
Love you
Jeanne
hi there.
ReplyDeletechuckle
what a lovely eclectic collection.
I believe that I have the Christmas teapot that matches your Christmas teacup. And hope, I don't collect teacups either! LOL!
ReplyDeleteHmm, I may have one or two myself ... ;)
ReplyDeleteThat Christmas teacup and saucer is gorgeous! I especially love the ribbed design -- never seen one like that before, not that I've seen that many Christmas cups and saucers at all -- and I have been looking!
