This week I went looking for Spring.
What I found delighted me.
There were signs.
Some signs I had to look close to the ground, move a few leaves.
There waiting to be discovered was green.
Tulips, daffodils, and camillas swelling with new life.
And the primroses were beginning to bloom.
It seems rather early, but I am not complaining.
The first signs of Spring always bring me giggles of JOY.
I do BELIEVE I will survive Winter,
in fact I am doing more than survive this year,
I am actually learning to kind of like it.
But seeing the signs of Spring give me HOPE for the color to return.
I think we all count the weeks to Spring! The bulbs have been emerging from the ground for the last 2 weeks...Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteOh my, what treasures you've spotted! I still had snow on my roof here in Georgia last night! But maybe I need to walk around and move a few leaves aside and see what's underneath. This post gives ME hope too! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI noticed the signs yesterday as I roamed about the yard! It is so much fun to see the tiny buds and know that it is happening!!
ReplyDeleteI love spring I am counting the days

I miss having my own yard. But when I go out next time, I will look for those beginning signs of spring. They warm my heart as well!
ReplyDeleteOh, my! How I long to see such signs! Of course, here we look forward to melting -- at least those of us who don't love the snow for skiing! We'll see this -- MAYBE March, probably April.
ReplyDeleteI too am waiting for spring Marilyn, but a long ways off I feel from signs. It's snowing like crazy right now, and underneath the ground is ice. I'll look at your pictures and dream!!
ReplyDeleteOooh, oooh, I LOVE this! So early!
ReplyDeleteSigh. Oh to live on the west side. I choose to BELIEVE that the east side will see signs of spring soon.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful montage! Hope.
Oh, this post is a sight for my winter-sore eyes, Marilyn! No signs of spring yet here--all is buried under snow and will be for many weeks yet. I may have to stop at the florist this weekend for a treat of flowers--I miss them! :o) Happy Weekend ((HUGS)) Oh, stop by my place, if you can, during the weekend–I’m having a fun Valentine Giveaway!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful I can hardly wait for Spring
