Tea in the evening.
Sometimes tea in the evenings is needed and enjoyed,
but not the caffeine.
What's a girl to do?
This is when I pull out the box of Tazo Calm
and sip delightedly.
It really isn't a tea, but a tisane.
It is a herbal blend of chamomile, rose petals, and soothing herbs.
Just perfect to relax and sleep.
Do you drink a calming drink before going to bed?
What is it? Please share.
This is one of my favorite teas! The tea comes out when I have had an exceptionally trying day!
ReplyDeleteI do sometimes drink an herbal tea before bedtime. The latest one is an orange/cranberry herbal blend I bought at a local garden gift shop. Helps with this cold I am currently battling too!
ReplyDeleteThis is interesting.
ReplyDeleteMy own favorite bed time tea is Darjeeling FFP. A great good night tea.
in florida, we had a tazo tea - the one with valerian and rose petals and it was fabulous. i haven't tracked it down here, and am thinking i will have to order online. i loved it.
ReplyDeleteEvery night before turning out the lights, I sit with a cup of home made hot cocoa. It puts me right to sleep.
ReplyDeleteOh that sounds so good. I love Tazo teas, but I don't think I have tried this one. I will have to check it out. Thanks. Ireally like your blog!
ReplyDeleteI do! I can't do chamomile (allergy to the ragweed family), so I do mints and other herbal blends. I like honeybush and rooibos, too. And sometimes hot choc with bailey's! ;-)
ReplyDeleteCalm is such a lovely word indeed.
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs and many blessings
Love Jeanne
sipping delightfully, aaaaaaah.
ReplyDeletehope you are having a wonderful weekend.
one love.
Yes indeed! And on the nights I forget, or am too lazy to prepare the tea, I find myself toddling back downstairs to make a cup around midnight, after I have tossed and turned for a few hours. You'd think I would learn! I brew Rosemary's Relaxing Tea (from The Rosemary House, of course), a loose leaf herbal blend of catnip, yarrow, raspberry, peppermint, chamomile, valerian root, passion flower, skullcap, strawberry leaves, and lady slipper root. Yum! Works everytime. At my father's home, I've also enjoyed Sleepytime Tea. That seems to do the trick too. Something about those herbs....
ReplyDeleteNancy
A warm cup of tea is so calming, a lovely way to prepare for bed.
ReplyDeleteOh I love that tea...and I reconize your lovely cup...from Anthro..right?
ReplyDeleteHappy new week my friend.
Seems like I've been downloading tea lately! Feels healing and nice. But no, no calming drink before bed... maybe I should try one!
ReplyDeleteI really love that cup! What china pattern is it? That's something that would fit nicely at Casa Tuxedo Cats Like Dipping Paws Into Teacups.
ReplyDeleteI like boring old Sleepytime Tea before bed.
It's been water for me before bad...but a nice cup of tea would really be a nice change.
ReplyDeleteI don't usually, Marilyn, but when I do it always has chamomile in it and I especially like Sleepy Time Tea.
