Colors of Tea

I don't know about you, but this time of year I crave color.
On my tea tray each morning I love mixing and matching my
cup with my little teapot for the day.
The addition of a colorful tray or a flower just makes
it all the more special.
Now what tea do I put in my little pot?
The nice yellow softness in this cup is a lovely floral oolong,
but some mornings I wish for a lovely dark, robust black tea.
Each tea adds it's own array of color to a morning ritual.
Oh do I love the color~
Today it will be Yunnan Gold.
If you haven't tried it, it is one of my favorites
from the Floating Leaves shop in Seattle, Washington.

  1. Yunnan Gold is a favorite of mine too. For me, it will forever be a wedding tea now. This morning I am enjoying a full-bodied cup of licorice tea. So good! I'm using a mug this morning. It reminds me of the friend who gave it to me and it says: "Some people like to make a little garden out of life." Jean Anuilh

  2. I think the variety of different teas is what makes it so attractive to me.

Right now it's time for my Chai with soy. The sun is trying to shine so I shall drink it on the deck.

  11. This time of year is a favorite for me, Marilyn. I love the freshness of the air and the light to brisk breezes that strum through the air. It is probably my favorite month of the year. I may be a Fall girl at heart, but, April is my favorite month. Go figure.
