To See
To truly see
We must listen
Open our hearts
To see the heart of another
See their beauty
See past the sorrows
See into the face of God.
We must stop and listen
with an open heart
and See.
What are you noticing today?
Are you truly seeing?
I agree, gorgeous photo and wonderful post - I would like to share it with my Stephen Ministry group. One thing I noticed today is how quickly things change, in ways that are often unseen. What pointed it up was the completely cloudless sky we enjoyed this morning, while knowing that strong thunderstorms will be here by this evening. The calm clear morning sky looks like it would last for days, but change is taking place even before the changes are visible.
I wish I was seeing that orchid for real! Instead I'm seeing a gray rainy day...but deeper than that I see the garden drinking up the warm rain and feeding the Spring flowers.. hugs xx
Gorgeous blossom, Marilyn. Did I listen to my heart today? Yes indeed. I changed plans I had had for a couple of weeks and as a result, was available to listen to a friend who needed to be heard. I didn't know why I shouldn't follow through on the plans; I just knew it was a good idea. Then then the phone call came and the rest is history. It was a good day.
Marilyn I see that I am loving stopping by your blog! I see the adorable faces of my two felines. They are the reason why we take a five day road trip to and from our winter home in Arizona.Along the drive all day yesterday I saw clumps of daffodils on the roads of Indiana!

I haven't seen too much yet today, but your blog post reminds me that I really must look.
ReplyDeleteThat is a GORGEOUS photo! I am seeing that there are kind people all around.
ReplyDeleteI am seeing more without fear. More with my heart and less through my judgemental mind.
ReplyDeleteI am seeingmore with care. More with myself wide open and less with eyes so blind.
I am seeing more without stress. More with hope filled prayer and less without being kind...
I am seeing more.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful thought... lovely orchid.
ReplyDeleteA stunning photo, Marilyn. And today I'm hoping I just might see a patch of sun. Not picky -- a patch will do!
