On to Pattaya City, Thailand

This is Pattaya City, Thailand
It has a lovely beach, but a lot of prostitution.
A friend lives there and had offered us a condo for a week.
After we arrived we weren't sure what we would do for the week,
not good planning on our part.  We soon figured it out.

One afternoon we went for tea.
It was served buffet style.
I didn't write down what each thing was, but I do remember the apricot tarts were quite good.

Another day a tour van picked us up at the condo and we spent the day
at a tropical garden sight.  There were beautiful orchids, elephants, and even a monkey.

The gardens were just lovely.

Yes, that is my traveling teacup.
You have seen it at the Vatican and Pompeii
and now in Thailand too.

  6. Hi Marilyn. That garden is just spectacular. It looks like it might have actually rated a repeat visit.

Your little teacup is certainly getting around. I must admit - I'm jealous. Your teacup has been to the VATICAN!!

  8. How amazing that in the midst of a place with some "unlovely" things there is such beauty! Those gardens are incredible. Love the teacup on the elephant. One day you'll have to let your teacup write a book about its (her?) travels!

  10. I'm getting a taste of what I'll experience - your adventure was amazing but not sure I'll be ziplining so much - one flight would be my limit! Tea and flower gardens sound fun - love seeing your teacup made another trip.

    Hugs - Mary

  13. Oh, those gardens are especially beautiful. I love your travelling teacup. Do you visit Patty (Magpie Tales)? She does that, too! I have a paper doll, but I haven't been very good taking her along lately. Maybe I'll take her to Chicago on my blog-meeeting weekend!

  14. That yellow orchid stuns me. Simply stuns me. And, oh! Do you know how much I love that you have a traveling tea cup?
