This is Pattaya City, Thailand
It has a lovely beach, but a lot of prostitution.
A friend lives there and had offered us a condo for a week.
After we arrived we weren't sure what we would do for the week,
not good planning on our part. We soon figured it out.
One afternoon we went for tea.
It was served buffet style.
I didn't write down what each thing was, but I do remember the apricot tarts were quite good.
Another day a tour van picked us up at the condo and we spent the day
at a tropical garden sight. There were beautiful orchids, elephants, and even a monkey.
The gardens were just lovely.
Oh, the perfect perch for your traveling teacup! I'm really enjoying the tour of Thailand. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous indeed.
ReplyDeleteI love all you share.
Love Jeanne♥
Love the gardens! and the orchids. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are seeing, tasting and experiencing Thailand. Your photos take me right back, I truly loved it there.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful...Looks like you had an amazing trip. Always wanted to go to Thailand!
ReplyDeleteHi Marilyn. That garden is just spectacular. It looks like it might have actually rated a repeat visit.
ReplyDeleteYour little teacup is certainly getting around. I must admit - I'm jealous. Your teacup has been to the VATICAN!!
Hi, Marilyn! Lovely to be back and catching up with you here after our own travels lately--just back! Love seeing your Traveling Teacup in Thailand. Have been relishing all your photos and news from your trip. I would love to have seen that HUGE golden Buddha...*sigh*... Happy Days as you sift through happy travel memories ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteHow amazing that in the midst of a place with some "unlovely" things there is such beauty! Those gardens are incredible. Love the teacup on the elephant. One day you'll have to let your teacup write a book about its (her?) travels!
ReplyDeleteI love the traveling teacup! :-)
ReplyDeleteYes, it's hard to reconcile those two worlds.
I'm getting a taste of what I'll experience - your adventure was amazing but not sure I'll be ziplining so much - one flight would be my limit! Tea and flower gardens sound fun - love seeing your teacup made another trip.
ReplyDeleteHugs - Mary
Hooray for the traveling Teacup!! Beautiful pictures and descriptions, keep them coming please as I am so keen to know about your trip :-)
ReplyDeletexo, Trixie

Oh, those gardens are especially beautiful. I love your travelling teacup. Do you visit Patty (Magpie Tales)? She does that, too! I have a paper doll, but I haven't been very good taking her along lately. Maybe I'll take her to Chicago on my blog-meeeting weekend!
ReplyDeleteThat yellow orchid stuns me. Simply stuns me. And, oh! Do you know how much I love that you have a traveling tea cup?
