Spirit Whispers

Today instead of a whisper, I am hollering.
Sometimes don't you just feel like hollering?
This is my husband.
He always is there to carry the basket of goodies
when we have tea outdoors.
He needs a bit of a holler to spirit
as he begins radiation this week for prostate cancer.
His heart is also giving him some challenges too.
So if you could just say a little prayer today,
it would be greatly appreciated.
It can be a whisper or a holler.
 I thank you.
Do you need a whisper or a holler to spirit today?

  2. I'm praying for Jim, that his treatments go well and that he recovers 100%. Since God hears both whisper's and holler's, I'll probably whisper my prayer. Blessings to both of you.

  4. Oh, yes, I would be honored to pray for your DH, Marilyn! My dad went through this a few years ago but today he is doing well and remains cancer-free. I'm praying for the same for Mr. Delights of the Heart!

  9. I am more of a whisperer. I'll be happy to add him to our prayer list. My dh had radiation for lymphoma,he is cancer free now!! PTL!! (Holler!) He also has heart problems, rapid heart beat. No caffeine for him either.

I found the Candy Lane tea and we had it tonight! We both love it! (Holler!) Maybe I am a hollerer (a word?) when I'm excited!

    Blessings!

  13. Marilyn, I'm so sorry you both have to confront this -- sounds like a bit of a load all at one time. I send you hugs, wishes, prayers, good vibes and lots of positive energy. Hollering or otherwise.

  14. Dear MM,
I am late to this post -- you INDEED have Dustin's and my fervent prayers, thoughts, love, and strong vibes for DearJim!!

As you may recall, I had lymphoma a long time ago, so I do know what a trying, tense, tea-needing time this is likely to be. Please keep breeeeeeathing, keep sipping your tea, keep writing, keep loving.

    xoxo,
    Trix

  16. So sorry I'm late with my good wishes for Jim's full recovery following his course of radiation. Didn't realize these problems were happening when you guys were traveling to wild places etc. - but know you'll be off again once he's feeling better. I had a lot of radiation (also surg. and chemo) for my cancer in the '80's - and here I am still going strong, thank goodness. Tell Jim to do all that's necessary - modern medicine is so wonderful.

Blessings to you both - and Bob joins me in sending good wishes as he's also a cancer survivor and knows all about doing the right thing.

    Love and hugs - Mary
