Glitter and Shine

I just love the colors and glitter of this season.
Solstice evening has passed now,
the darkest night of the year.
My heart rejoices as light returns.
The darkness is past and the light returns.
May we all rejoice at this time in the return of the light.
Celebrate, Dance, put up your twinkling lights
and Rejoice as the light definitely will return!

This morning when I was reminded that the darkness is past
and the light would return, my heart jumped for JOY.
Celebrate the day!

Now I am wishing I bought a trinket or two from this bowl.
Aren't they just so happy and they do make my heart sing.

  3. Praise be! I so look forward to the return of light. Especially this year with enough gloom.
My little tree is decorated with shiny brights, I love the older ornaments. Merry Merry Christmas Marilyn!

  5. I used to like it when it got dark a little earlier but I'm tired of it being dark at 4:30.

  7. Such lovely vintage ornaments - they are so much better than modern ones!

Sending love and best wishes for a very Happy Christmas Marilyn dear - hope you feel fine now and enjoy celebrating this lovely time of year.

I'll continue with my Thailand/Vietnam stories after the holidays - I think we both need to return to Chiang Mai don't you!!!!!!?

    Love, Mary

  9. I adore vintage ornaments and have a few rather battered-looking ones. The old, sentimental ones passed down from one generation to another are the best (but not always in the best condition). :)
