Transition to Spring

My heart always sings when March comes around,
as we begin seeing signs of Spring.
A few weeks ago I shared one pink camellia,
they have been slow to bloom.
In looking this yard for red I found the red camellia
wanting to bloom.
There were fresh red sprouts on the rose bushes,
crocus for sure were showing their bright shining faces,
and the miniature daffodils were singing to me.
Soon, very soon the tall daffodils will be shining
followed closely by the tulips.
Yes, this time of year does make my heart sing.
What is making your heart sing this week?

  1. My heart is shining the light is returned and that the sun is out. I am looking for signs of spring every day. On one of my roses have shot started shooting. When I saw that you got leaves on your roses, I was so happy. To see the crocus in the amount of the energy boost. I wish you a nice day! Zinnia

  2. I am looking out my sewing room window right now and see snow on the ground! I guess this is typical March weather but I sure would like to see the sun for a few hours. Lovely photos, Marilyn.

  8. Oh, how lovely! You are a bit ahead of us here in Michigan, but it's been so unseasonably warm, I'm sure we'll catch up soon!
