Colors of Springtime

A local antique mall has seasonal shows and
last week when I stopped by I was struck with the color.
Usually there is alot of white and yes there still was beautiful soft colors and white.
However, this particular spot in the show just made me smile.
The colors of Springtime were definitely shining here.
I just wanted to take a colorful cushion and chair and sit among the flowers in my garden.
Are the colors of Springtime singing to you?
What colors are shining in your garden and your heart?
The two ducks here look like they are enjoying the sunshine and a chat.
Take time this weekend to sit in the sun and chat with someone special.

  1. Colors of springtime --- yellow with touches of bright green, orange, and red. At least, that's what comes to mind for me.

I've always been interested in the appearance of wild flowers on the mountain. Each week is a progression. The early spring flowers are yellow --- then some blue/purple --- and finally the red's bloom last.

    Happy SPRING to you!

  2. The first color my eyes picked up in this photo were the shades of blue. Maybe that's because blue is my favorite color. Lovely post!

  3. Oh, if the sun would stick around....I am like a gecko...it appears and I run outside to catch every last ray. Tulips are slowly appearing and weeping cherry trees are starting to bloom. Spring sunshine please come soon!

  4. What a beautiful display! Our dogwood tree is in full blossom (white) and in the front our rosebud tree is blooming (pink) and the tulips (rose, magenta, yellow) are doing their thing, too. And the golden dandelions lift me back to my childhood when I would pick a bunch for my mom! It is a burst of color everywhere! Loving spring!

  6. I know, I know.....I've been gone for what seems like forever! I've loved your comments and thank you dear for stopping by whilst I sailed the seas.
Biggest disappointment of the trip was that we didn't make the tea at Raffles in Singapore...........time was our enemy as we had to board the ship - the reservation should have been made for the previous day! Also, another sad note was we couldn't visit Thailand as scheduled - a post coming up soon on that.

Now here I am trying to catch up with so many domestic things. I wish I could be out enjoying the local antique/vintage malls, especially SuzAnna's, and visit some of the Spring shows in town this weekend, BUT the garden calls and the pollen needs to be zapped, so I'm heading outside to work most of today. Luckily the weather is fabulous - I will make an effort to sit a while later and enjoy the colors of the garden.

Hope life is good dear friend.
    Hugs - Mary

  10. GORGEOUS colors, shapes, details and items... I'd love that place too. ;o) Not much color the garden just now... we've had a cold snap, so true spring is slow blooming. But I am wearing more spring colors--more pink, aqua, white... it is so refreshing...*sigh*... Happy week, Marilyn ((HUGS))
