The morning air has a crispness of the coming of Autumn.
Not that I don't want to hold onto Summer a bit longer,
but there is something invigorating about the coolness of the morning air.
Recently I visited a new pastry shop in town.
You know I always have to check out a new place for macarons.
The colors just sang to me of Autumn.
I have heard the colors of Autumn will be more colorful jewel tones
and these colors just fit in with that feel.
Aren't they pretty?
So citrusy and regal!
What are you noticing today?
Are the colors of the changing season beginning to appear?
Enjoy the weekend and take time to notice what you notice.

omigoodness. I couldn't get past this photograph. We have a cookie shop here in town. I'm going to check them out and see if they might do this.
ReplyDeleteOh, you just had to go and show us those macarons . . . I think that I will now have to plan a day to make some since it is at least a two hour drive to anyplace that sells them.
ReplyDeleteThat is a yummy photo, Marilyn.
I certainly noticed those macarons.
I love those cookies. So vibrant...so different than other cookies. Do they taste good?

Beautiful! Wish I could simply pluck one of those luscious macarons from that bowl!
ReplyDeleteThose macarons look beautiful and I'll bet they taste yummy too! Slight changes in nature are occurring in Michigan to signal fall is coming, but the temps will reach 89 today so summer is still here. I love fall, but hate the reminder that winter is right on its heels.
ReplyDeleteA post that combines autumn with macarons is a great one! Beautiful, beautiful photo!!!
ReplyDeleteI went for a short drive this morning and noticed many of the leaves are beginning to turn and the autumn wildflowers are blooming. Such wonderful colors in those macaroons.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Wouls love to taste one of those macarons.
ReplyDeleteExquisite jewel colours!!!
ReplyDeleteI will say YES to macarons in any colour Marilyn!!!
Here on the other side of the world Spring is fast approaching - in fact 1st September heralds the beginning!
Loved your previous post "Tea with Jim" too - good for him gracing the ladies with his presence!! The cake stands are wonderful!
I'm following you now - I don't want to miss your next hearts delight post!
Lovely to meet you Marilyn!

Such beautiful colours. I'm sure those
ReplyDeletemacarons taste good too! Everything here is still very green because of the
constant showers, but I noticed the lime trees had shed their leaves and were carpeting the path where I went on a recent walk.
How neat that you were a judge there!
ReplyDeleteYou would love Charleston! Try to go there sometime. Savannah is just an hour or so south of Charleston, you could combine a trip to both! Both cities are wonderful!

We saw a few revoltingly red branches at the lake last weekend. Shock! I am loving those macarons. They look to die for!
ReplyDeleteI'm loving the cooler evenings and the crisp mornings. I'd love those cookies with my cup of tea!
