Sleep Baby Sleep

A recent adventure into lullaby land.
I could just imagine the beautiful lights hanging over my bed like starlight.
Pillows kept calling to me wanting to cuddle and sleep.
Did Alice sleep in the beautiful bed?
I wanted to know, but didn't find out.
So I dreamed of dreamland and wandered with my camera.
There was "Good Stuff" there, but nothing came home
with me but dreams and photos to share.
How I would have loved curling up on that bed, sleeping
in the garden, with dreams and delights dancing through my head.

Photos taken at the annual Flea Market at Deepwood Estates, Salem, Oregon

  1. That really was a "good stuff's" flea market! So many pretty things --- each quite enticing to buy --- but better yet to photograph.

    The Good Stuff
    is all around,isn't it!
    thank goodness!

    once
    i moved a day*bed outside
    at the beach
    and
    made it fancy
    and
    tried to sleep
    under the stars
    BUT
    BUT
    sometime
    in the night
    DEW fell

    yep!
    DEW!

    go figure...
    everything turned
    a Soggy Mess
    but
    i might try it again
    someday
    only not
    in florida...

    i'm just saying...

  9. Your two posts featuring the flea market at Deepwood Estates are delightful. I'm sure a visit would be most enjoyable with
gorgeous crockery, linens and lighting that would be difficult to resist purchasing.

  12. The best way for me to get through a flea market with the least amount of damage is with a camera as my companion! It looks like it was a very good one indeed!
