Recently a friend said she had picked her last bouquet from the garden.
It seems like I can squeak out a bouquet from the garden well into Autumn.
The bouquets will get smaller as we get closer to a night time freeze.
This is probably the last full bouquet from the garden.
It was pure delight!
After the flowers are gone,
I will continue with bouquets from the market.
There is just something so special about having flowers in the house.
It is definitely one thing that makes my heart sing.
Do you still have flowers in your garden?
Do you keep bouquets in the house throughout the year?
May your weekend be full of JOY and bouquets of friends and flowers.

Your fall bouquet is lovely, Marilyn. I'm not a gardener, but I do occasionally purchase floral bouquets from the florist to enjoy in my house. Wishing you a wonderful weekend too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! We haven't had a hard frost yet, so I still have zinnias blooming, but not for much longer. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteLove your fall bouquet Marilyn, I love fall colors. Our gardens are done now, we've already had our first frost. I'll just enjoy yours!
ReplyDeleteSuch a delightful bouquet from your Autumn garden Marilyn.
ReplyDeleteOh yes I have to have flowers all year round - as well as scented candles and lovely books and magazines! They make my heart sing too - I can't imagine a house without those things.
You're a girl after my own heart.
Enjoy what's left of your garden - it's Spring where I am in New Zealand far, far away in the Southern Hemisphere - but only a little click of your mouse and you can be there!
Blogging has well and truly opened up the world to us.
Happy days
Shane ♥
Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWe had dinner with good friends last night and my friend still picks the most beautiful bouquets from her garden.
Almost none left in The Blue Garden now.
I was picking my last peppers and herbs from the garden and flowers.
ReplyDeleteI brought them to my beloved Grandmother for her room.
She always loved to Garden and misses it so..............
Treasure your many blessings.
Happy Sunday♥
Your bouquet is so pretty!! Isn't it amazing what a $5.00 bouquet from the store can perk up a home?
ReplyDeleteJudy
I still have a few here in Michigan. A very few. But I can also make a nice bouquet from herbs and leaves!
ReplyDeleteOh, this is a pretty mix, Marilyn--love how the colors of the colors of the flowers blend with the decor/setting. I love fresh flowers in the house, but we've had few this summer as we need to do some re-plantings in our flower beds. That will be a project for next year, I think, as this year has been interior work/painting. But the occasional bouquet from a florist has been a treat. :o) Happy Week ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful bouquet! My mother always loved to have flowers in the house... they do bring joy!
ReplyDeleteSuch a lovely bouquet for this time of year. My flowers froze some time ago.
ReplyDeleteLove the full, lavish look of this bouquet!
