Teatime is Coming?

Do you celebrate special events with something special to drink?
Silly that I should ask.
What would you drink for a special celebration?

For me it is tea.
Right now I am searching for Celestial Seasonings Candy Cane Lane.
Have you tried it?
It is a decaf green tea with vanilla and mint flavoring.
Not my usual choice in teas, but on occasion when I don't want more caffeine,
it is quite good.
Have you seen it in the store?
I have looked high and low and none to be found.
The search is on and I will not relent until found.

If you find it, try it.  I think you will like it.

I didn't put out my usual array of tea ornaments this year,
but just a few as you see here.
The one in the middle is new, a vintage teapot shaped glass ornament.
What fun it was to find.

Now if I could only find that Candy Cane Lane tea.
PS - Found 6 boxes later today, Hooray!

  5. I'll check out the markets in my area for the tea, Marilyn. Hopefully I'll find it for you. Your tea ornaments are so sweet. Can't believe it's that time of year again. Happy holiday!

  6. Since I don't drink much but water, milk, and coke, I'll tell you about Sloane. Her idea of a special treat is hot chocolate mixed with coffee. I have NO IDEA where she got a coffee-love from. It's her Daddy's fault, I guess.

  9. Do you have a Trader Joe's near you? If so they sell Candy Cane Lane tea. Of course like all (most) things sold at TJ it's their own house brand. But I would bet it's made by Celestial Seasons.

  12. I enjoyed seeing your tea-themed Christmas decorations. They're just lovely, and I recognize that white teapot ornament in the lower left-hand corner because I received one too [which I'm guessing is from the same special person!]. So glad you found your Candy Cane Lane tea too! I love sipping it in the evenings when it's too late for tea with caffeine.

  14. LOVE the sparkly ornaments--the teapot one is so sweet! Pairing drinks with occasions is fun. Tea is always part of my life, and especially at holidays. But I like adding a flavored hot chocolate to the mix about now. ;o) We make mulled wine and mulled cider at Christmas--it's a highlight of the season. Happy Days, Marilyn :o) ((HUGS))
