The Great Tree Hunters

Is this the one?

On the hunt, the great tree hunters.

Back at the barn for cocoa and donuts.

Or maybe a sit by the fire.

Our adventures took us to the country Saturday,
in search of the perfect tree.
A lovely time with family made the day all so perfect.
Have you found the perfect tree this year?
Most of all plan adventures with family
that will make it perfect for sure!

  1. When my children were younger, a visit to the Christmas Tree Farm was a highlight of the season for all of us. Now they are grown and I have an artificial tree that I can manage by myself. (Getting that fresh tree into the stand, into the house, and standing straight, was always a huge challenge!) But I do miss the freshly cut tree, and the trips to the tree farm.

  2. I'm really hoping we can go to the tree farm this year, last year was the first time we didn't. We have our favorite tree farm, and I love going. It looks like you had a really good family time Marilyn, hope to see your tree all decked out!

  3. Hi
Lovely pictures of a wonderful adventure. I recall years back when we rode the tractor pulled wagon along the trails in search of our Christmas tree. Always a fun day - and the cider or cocoa in the barn after always tasted so good. Thanks for bringing such memory to light
    Love Gail

I loved white fir's - but they are expensive.

  5. I have very fond memories of a Christmas tree hunt and a train that kids could ride, from when I was a kid (er, that is college kid!) ;-)
