Tea Time fun!

Do you just love to play with your camera when taking photos for your blog?
This week I played a bit.
I found a picture I liked in a Tasha Tudor book and tried to achieve the same feel.
Now it didn't turn out at all like the photo I was looking at,
but still I had fun.
Then there was a yumminess too, as I sipped this
lovely Darjeeling tea and nibbled fresh raspberries in winter.

Do you have plans to play this weekend?
Oh I hope you do.
Playing and sipping tea are good for the soul.

    What a delightful blog post! Please come link to OPEN HOUSE. Yes...I plan to do some antiquing Sunday afternoon. Always my favorite pasttime.

    Hi Marilyn, Your blue and white is lovely, as is your red transferware teapot. You've done well in playing with your camera - lovely flowers and tablecloth contribute to make this very appealing to the eye. The raspberries look good, too. Have a nice wknd!

    Pretty tea pictures. Isn't that a Royal Winton chintz teapot in the background? Oh my, would I ever love one of those!!

    I love your photos! Yes, I do have plans for the weekend. I'm going to a Sisters On The Fly potluck in Eugene tomorrow - riding with one of my Sisters. After the potluck we (the group) will go to the Good Living and Home Show where some of our Sisters will have their vintage trailers on display. One of the founding Sisters will have her trailer there, too. That's my plan.

    Hi Marilyn,

    Your photo's look wonderful. I like you porcelain. I believe you call it transferware? It is very pretty!

    My youngest daughter and I will paint some wall tomorrow and perhaps have a look at our allotment garden to see how it looks like with a layer of snow.

    Love seeing the red and blue transferware together. I never thought of that. I think I need to play with mine now. Love your photos of them on the vintage tablecloth. I may need to look for one of those now. I used to find them with Karen when she was into them.

    BEAUTIFUL images, Marilyn! Your play with photography shows much sensitivity and joy in the experience. :o) Those raspberries are calling me...mmm... This past weekend I wrapping up putting together writing and materials for my workshop...so it was a working weekend. Next one, I hope to get to play more. ;o) Happy Days ((HUGS))

    These are lovely shots, Marilyn! I got a book about food photography that I hope will help me take more "artful" food photos like these this year. I have a feeling I may have to give up my point-and-shoot and return to my nice big digital camera instead!
