Do you know chicken soup weather?
Cold and drippy for sure
This is the time for warm soups.
Maybe that is why the books of Chicken Soup have been so well received.
I found this warm bowl of goodness at a local tea shop in Chinatown.
Just recovering from a virus, it just warmed me to my toes.
What warms you to your toes?
Is it a cup of soup?
Of course for me a warm cup of tea.
Maybe someone's smile?
Have a delightful weekend and may you be warmed to your toes!
PS - Don't forget to leave a comment on yesterday's post for the give-away.
I agree that nothing much warms you up like hot soup on a cold day, and this one looks yummy! Please get to feeling better soon, Marilyn!
ReplyDeleteI've been making some lovely soups this week as my husband is not too well after a tooth extraction. Soups are so warming and nourishing. We also enjoy porridge at breakfast time. I hope you are feeling a lot better, Marilyn.
ReplyDeleteSoups DO warm one to their toes! I've been enjoying a soup I've been making from shiitake mushrooms, onions, celery, and a touch of red pepper flakes. So yummy and low calorie. And it really does warm the toes!
ReplyDeleteSoup!Any kind! And a hot cup if tea and a Lorna Doone for desert.
ReplyDeleteIt's soup weather here. We are "iced in" today.
ReplyDeleteThis sounds very good. We've been really cold here.
ReplyDeleteThis looks delicious; I love homemade soups.
ReplyDeleteMmmm! Love looking at those dumplings!
ReplyDeleteEven though I've had my dinner for the night...there's something so incredible about this soup. I want to bite right into those yummy noodles.
ReplyDeleteFor now...my warm cup of coffee will have to do.
Thanks for sharing...keep cozy and have a great night.

This soup looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteMuch love stay warm and happy and healthy. Love Jeanne
Perfect chicken soup day here as well.....though we had moose soup for dinner :-)
ReplyDeleteOh, that soup... sooo GOOD! I'd love a bowl of that right now. We had a LOT of snow during the weekend and had fun playing snowed-in. Soup is the best during the cold season. I love a cup of tea or hot chocolate too. My kitty Charlie is good at warming my toes...literally, he likes sit near by feet. :o) Happy Day, Marilyn ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteYou give me Chinese dumplings. I give you happy Jeanie!
