Steven Smith Teamaker - #8 Mao Feng Shui
A full leaf Green tea
A few days ago I had some time to stop by the teashop
of Steven Smith Teamaker.
Walking into the shop someone packaging Mao Feng Shui, green tea,
waved to me from behind a window.
It did catch my attention, so I took a look.
Behind the window they were making teabags of this lovely tea.
I know alot is said now for the health benefits of drinking green tea,
but I usually don't drink green tea. I decided to give it a try.
It was quite delightful.
The packaging says it is "a slightly sweet,
vegetative taste and aroma with a lingering fresh aftertaste".
I found it more sweet than vegetative.
If you would like to try a very nice green tea, I can highly recommend this one.
I just want to say too, isn't the packaging just beautiful?
I love it when a company takes the attention to the details of packaging and also have a lovely product.

I have tried to like green tea, but I just don't enjoy the taste. But I keep trying to find one I can drink, as you said, for the health benefits! :)
ReplyDeleteI must try this tea! One of my favorite teas is Steven Smith Teamaker's Fez. Yes, I love the way they package their tea. Packaging is often what catches my eye first - then it draws me closer to find something new and wonderful!

I really love Steven Smith Teamaker's packaging! The boxes are interesting and useful for other purposes (recycling) and I've had fun altering them as well. Great post!
ReplyDeleteI am such a sucker for pretty and simple packaging! This is lovely. And thanks for liking my "read" nails...LOL. Well, at least I did not misspell the word! Ha!
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize this firm has a shop, too! Yes, I do love the packaging. It seeems vintage or sophisticated or *something* that appeals to me. Glad to hear you found a green tea you like!
ReplyDeleteThis was beautiful in every way... beautiful tea, beautiful packaging! Very fun to see. Thank you, Marilyn :o) Happy Weekend ((HUGS))

Very elegant packaging and glad to hear that the green tea is good.
ReplyDeleteI love good packaging. I will buy things I don't really like that much because I love the packaging. Go figure. But it always works!
ReplyDeleteWhat an enjoyable experience. Personally, I prefer the 'sweeter' greens than those that are more vegetal. I think I would like this one.
