Happy Easter


Easter, A time for new birth.
Eggs dyed naturally by the chickens.
The softness of the light.
Easter, A time for Spring delights.
Flowers begin to shine.
It is time to sing with the beginning of longer days.

Easter is coming,
Spring is on its way
Hens getting ready
For eggs to lay

Flowers all growing,
Bright and tall
Little lambs born,
Fluffy and small

A time for hope
And a time for prayer
New beginnings
And warmer air

The Easter bunny
And chocolate treats
Egg rolling, hunts
And lots of sweets!

    I love this post, Marilyn, but I must admit that I was especially drawn into the photos. Such beautiful scenes and a lovely use of natural light. I like the light and shadows --- and the honesty of the elements in each photo. Just lovely, lovely, lovely. Happy Easter!
