I Can See More Clearly

This is my 70th year of life's adventure.
Yes, I can see more clearly.
What I learned in planning my birthday celebration is that in the planning
and anticipation I found JOY in turning 70.
It didn't thrill me to turn this large number until I started planning for it.
Each decade is indeed a new adventure.
I learned that I need to embrace it and ENJOY.
Each step of the way I am learning from the following quote:
"We are at the beginning of what is possible".
by 81 year old soccer/football player, Lajos Balogh
Yes, I can see more clearly.
I can move forward calmly without worry.
I notice the fragrance of the day and take pure DELIGHT in the unplanned.
Yes, I can see more clearly.

So today is the day I celebrate fully my birth.

  1. Happy happy birthday to you! May your day be filled to overflowing with love and joy...and may it mark the beginning of a wonderful new year of life.

I DO like your attitude. I had the same attitude when I turned 50 last year. Turning 40 was a nightmare, and my entire 40's were bad, as I agonized over some age-related things I was powerless to change (fertility issues). So, when my 50th birthday was looming, I realized that I needed to change my attitude, lest I waste another decade of my life!

    Blessings abundant to you,
    Patti

  4. Happy birthday!
I wish I had known at 20 some of the things that I know now. How many of my choices would have been different? Age does bring clarity.
