Tea at Chariteas

What a treat to share my birthday with friends and tea at Chariteas.
Chariteas is a tearoom in nearby Sandy, Oregon,
just heading up the mountain to Mt. Hood.

Steph of Steph's Cup of Tea is in the middle, with her mom, Linda, on the right.
Steph and I both share March birthdays and thought this was the perfect way to celebrate.

Happy Birthday, Steph!

It was a special way to celebrate with
tea
cucumber, chicken salad, and salmon sandwiches
yummy salad with oranges and toasted nuts
scones and cream
and sweet goodies

When you celebrate, what makes your day extra special?

  4. What a lovely way to celebrate your birthdays! Everything looks scrumptious!
There used to be another tea shop in Sandy but it's gone now. I think it was called the Old World Tea Shoppe. So sad that tea rooms seem to struggle.

  7. You have the best spots to go for tea there -- if we have them, I haven't discovered them! I love your celebrations!

  8. We past Chariteas on our way home from Mount Hood a few days ago. I told my sweetheart I should plan a trip to have tea there sometime soon. Thank you for sharing your special tea with us.

  12. What a sweet day... beautiful food... And LOVE the pottery/china! I feel like every day ought to be celebrate--each day is such a precious gift. I try to be mindful of this. So tea--even just a simple cup taken on my own--always fits into the celebration. :o) Happy Weekend, Marilyn ((HUGS))

  13. Charity is a friend of mine from STI classes and I've followed her adventures opening and running her tearoom. I'm thrilled you all went to celebrate birthdays at Chariteas. Love the tiered tray.
Happy birthday to you and Stephanie!
