It was a day on the river, a day just for dreaming, a day for strolling and tossing rocks in the water.
A day in the sunshine and a day for greeting friends.
Beautiful handmade wooden boats we could touch and place a dream here and there.
Do you dream of drifting aimlessly on the water, sitting in the sun?

I've found my way here via Relyn's blog. I like your photos based on "notice what you notice." Suddenly, I want to grab my camera and have a cup of tea. Outside somewhere, of course. Very lovely.

I dream of going out west and seeing the beauty that you see. I could be floating down the river. One day.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very beautiful part of our state. That, among many other beautiful spots! And your photos show it well!
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful! I enjoyed seeing these boats a few years ago when they were at the confluence of the Snake and Columbia Rivers. Truly tranquil and lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful boats. I could really use a day to float and dream, right now.
ReplyDeleteI need to block a day or two on my calender and have a day dreaming day, too. Love you pictures, you captured the details and peacefulness.
ReplyDeleteThose boats are BEAUTIFUL... like something from a dream, a fairytale... I'd like to journey in one of those. :o) Happy Day, Marilyn ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteGive me boats and a river and I'm such a happy camper! This is splendid!
ReplyDeleteThese boats are incredible -- such craftsmanship!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful day! I love to cruise on the river in my sweetheart's little boat. It's nothing like these boats - just a simple, old fishing boat - but it makes for such a nice day of relaxing and cruising down the river.

i love wooden handbuilt boats - those seats are amazing in the last pic.
ReplyDeleteRight now I'm thinking once again about rubber boats! Yes, more Zodiac riding ahead!
