Day-Dreaming Day

It was a day on the river, a day just for dreaming, a day for strolling and tossing rocks in the water.
A day in the sunshine and a day for greeting friends.

Dreaming along the McKenzie River in Oregon where there were eagles nesting nearby.

Beautiful handmade wooden boats we could touch and place a dream here and there.
Do you dream of drifting aimlessly on the water, sitting in the sun?

I am a guest blogger today at http://comesitbymyfire.blogspot.com/
Come by and visit.

Note:  Don't forget to leave a comment on Monday's post for the give-away.

  1. I've found my way here via Relyn's blog. I like your photos based on "notice what you notice." Suddenly, I want to grab my camera and have a cup of tea. Outside somewhere, of course. Very lovely.

  4. I dream of going out west and seeing the beauty that you see. I could be floating down the river. One day.

  6. Very beautiful! I enjoyed seeing these boats a few years ago when they were at the confluence of the Snake and Columbia Rivers. Truly tranquil and lovely pictures.

  12. What a delightful day! I love to cruise on the river in my sweetheart's little boat. It's nothing like these boats - just a simple, old fishing boat - but it makes for such a nice day of relaxing and cruising down the river.

Right now I'm thinking once again about rubber boats! Yes, more Zodiac riding ahead!
