Shades of Blue

On pinterest I have a board or folder just for blue flowers.
I love them, as they remind me of God's sense of humor.
Today I went looking in my own garden to see how many blue flowers I had.
There are many shades of blue, but all beautiful in my eyes.

Do you love the color blue in nature?
Blue birds
Blue sky
Blue water
Blue icebergs
and
Blue flowers

They all make my heart sing!
Can you think of anything else that is blue in nature?

  1. Blue and yellow are my favorite colors Marilyn, your blues are awesome! We live by Lake Huron, which has the most beautiful blue water ever. I'll have to share a picture sometime.

  4. Blue is my favorite color. Always. The blues I love best are the eyes of my three children, and now the deep blue eyes of my two granddaughters.

  5. I do not care for blue in the house...but blue flowers and blue birds get my complete attention. I think it may be because there are so few flowers that are the true blue. Lobelia I love but cannot grow it because it's just too hot! The little wild petunias come up all over my yard and garden. I do have a black and blue salvia at the moment.

  6. I love the color blue no matter where you put it - and it doesn't much matter which shade! I think there are blue butterflies! I'll add that to your list!

I'm in the midst of changing to bloglovin' due to Google changes - but don't really know what the heck I'm doing! Who are you planning to change to in order to read your followers' posts?

  11. It's so hot here today. 107 degrees. If there is anything blue out there (like my lavender) I know the heat is bleaching it to white.

  14. What a gorgeous collage! It's interesting to me that so many of our decorative color palettes turn to blue in summertime. My theory is that we're all longing for the sky and water, whether we happen to live at the lake/beach or not!
