There were 10 in our group that ventured to Seattle this past weekend for the NW Tea Festival.
Then two more joined us from back east and we were a group of 12 who enjoyed tea and conversation.
First stop for tea was the New Century Tea Shop in Seattle's Chinatown.

Saturday morning our group presented the WuWo Tea Ceremony out in the courtyard
at Seattle Center. The sun came out and it was a delightful time of sharing.
There were tea lovers everywhere and came from many places.
I chatted with the guy in the plaid shirt and he was there from Michigan.
Friends came from New Jersey and New York.
Oh what fun we had sipping tea and chatting.
I will share a bit more tomorrow.
Do you love tea?
If so, the NW Tea Festival takes place in Seattle the first weekend in October every year.
You have THE most fun!
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like a great event and if I can be abnormally trite, just your cup of tea!
Easy to tell that you must have had the most wonderful time :-)
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a great tea adventure!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to relive through your photos!
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing familiar faces. It looks like such a tranquil time. Tea time at its very best!!!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely delightful, thank you for taking us along on your adventure Marilyn! I look forward to more of what you have to share of the NW Tea Festival.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun outing. Tea lovers, unite! I love tea, but can only drink decaf.
ReplyDeleteA big event like this would be fun with a lot of sipping and chatting going on, but I guess it's also a serious business participating in the tea ceremony.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful time, you must have had.
ReplyDeleteTessa~
Oh Marilyn - what fun!
ReplyDeleteNow you are our celebrated authority on tea!
It must have been great taking part in the various tea ceremonies which mean so much in other cultures.
A lovely post for all of us tea lovers out here!
Hugs
Shane
