Pair Vs. Pear

A perfect blend just the other morning as I sipped a cup
of a delightful Darjeeling and nibbled on a fresh pear.
What a perfect combination or pair you might say.
The tea was from Thunderbolt Tea, Sungma China Flower First Flush.
Opening the bag it smelled divine, then sipping my tea
with the Bartlett Pear just delightful.

Does a combination of a sip and something special ever just
say, Awwwwww!  Delicious!

Posting Friday's post a bit early, as early tomorrow I will be on a ferry to
Seattle for the NW Tea Festival at the Seattle Center.

Happy Weekend, dear friends!

  1. Pear and Darjeeling... VERY nice pairing/pearing! ;o) Last year, last Christmas I was given a spicy Christmas tea... we ate it with our English-style Christmas cake and that was a WOW-delicious experience. Hope to repeat this holidays season coming soon. Happy Days, Marilyn ((HUGS))

  2. This is gorgeous. And it also reminds me that pear season is here. I do love a good pear!

  4. I love the sound of that tea Marilyn - it's time I visited a shop that stocks specialty teas.

Pears are lovely - Doyenne du Comice is a favorite of mine - so juicy and delicious!
