And coming here during lavender season.
Oh how the travel bug does prevail in my soul.
I believe the more you travel,
the more travel is desired.
If you could choose to travel anywhere right now,
where would you go and what would you do?

A trip to Paris has always been a dream of mine - maybe - one day. I also miss being near the water and so any trip that takes me to the water is a joy.

Oh goodness, you know me, been a lot of places, seen a lot of beauty these past few years, however, deep in my heart I too am ready for France again. Doing just what you would do.......the villages in Provence and the Languedoc (where my brother lives). I could never tire of wandering through the ancient places, so much beauty, so many stories in the old stones. Yes, La Madone was lovely wasn't it - probably the loveliest place I've stayed anywhere! Sidewalk cafes, old churches, bistros and village bars, wine tasting - wine guzzling, fresh baguettes, pain au chocolate breakfasts......and so forth. Simple life, good life. Shall we pack our bags?
ReplyDeleteNo travel plans in place right now - just enjoying time at home.......even loving cleaning, LOL!!!
Hugs dear one - Mary
I would love to visit Italy and France. Thanks for sharing your lovely photo's, now I feel like I've been there.
ReplyDeleteI have never been to France and I really want to go!
ReplyDeleteOh, well, I will dream of that too - you know it is one of my favorite spots!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Where WOULD I go? I'm desperate to get back to Europe -- more time in England and of course France and Amsterdam. But it is getting a little nippy... I've heard it's summer in Australia. Maybe this week that's where I'm "headed!" (Never been there, either!)
Tough question. When I've traveled far, I don't like to go again. But of all the countries I've been to, France was my favorite. But I've never been to Italy, so that is at the top of my list for someday.
ReplyDeleteEven though I've been, I would also like to take my daughter to England to do an authors' tour. She loves English literature and that's where she wants to go first.
More of England! I feel like we only scratched a corner in the 9 days we were there. And I'd like to live in an English house or apartment, not just a hotel or B&B.

Anyplace where our loved ones are has always been our travel destinations.
ReplyDeleteLove you and all you share.
My travel dreams will take me to England - a quick visit in London, and then a long slow meandering journey through the countryside, discovering old farm houses offering cream teas, finding unique tea rooms in out of the way places... yes, and then I would travel to China or Thailand or Greece. And there's always South America to discover. oh my! We are hoping to travel to Costa Rica in January. It's a wide wide world out there. Loved your reminiscing through France. Fun!
ReplyDeleteSo many places call to me. Paris, Southern France, Italy, England - the world! I know how much you love France and I understand why you miss it so.

I would go to England, France and Italy and enjoy as many teatimes as possible and just gallivanting with my husband -- because that is what my hubby was online planning just last night. This is to be a trip in honor of my 50th next May! Can't wait!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your pictures of Paris and Provence. What a gorgeous apartment you had. There are so many places I'd love to see. Hubby wants to spend a week on a luxury catamaran sailing in Carribean next year.
ReplyDeleteI'd like to be on a plane to Chili - maybe next year!
ReplyDeleteStupid automatic correct - I typed Chile, but it auto-corrected it to Chili! :)
ReplyDeleteHmmmm, where would I like to travel? Right now I'd like to be exactly where you went, as the pictures you shared so aptly illustrate the relaxation, beauty, and sense of adventure you must have felt!
