Inspired by The Book of Stillmeadow by Gladys Taber
Spring is Not
Spring is not just daffodils blooming
Nor is it the earth coming alive
It is HOPE
It is the JOY of life
A time to dance
A time to celebrate
Oh yes, we survived the darkness of winter
Now let's dig in the garden
Pick flowers and Sing
Eat strawberries with ecstasy
And twirl in the moonlight
It is both a Delight and a Wonder
It is the whisper in my heart

BEAUTIFULLY and exquisitely expressed, Marilyn! I feel like that too--that spring is a voice in my heart, it a joy unfurling--like that out of doors. It is a magical time! We had the first real taste of spring this weekend with sunny days both days, long walks to admire tiny green shoots everywhere just starting to spire up... bliss! :o) Happy Days ((HUGS))

ReplyDeleteYes, yes, yes to all of this! I think surviving the darkness of winter is reason enough to celebrate!
