Cherry Blossom Time

When the sun shines
and the cherry blossoms enchant
I feel the need to sit under the snow
of blossom petals
and sip tea.
My first tea time outdoors for 2014
was under the blanket of cherry blossoms.
Come join me and celebrate sunshine
and being outdoors.
It is truly a blessing of springtime.

Are you celebrating outdoors?
What delights are you finding?

  4. oh, how lovely... *BIG SWOON*... :O) The first tea-time outdoors is something special. Is that sparkling pink lemonade, I spy there among your tea treats?! DELICIOUS!! We're hoping if the fine weather holds out, we can put out our patio furniture--and maybe even sit outside during Easter break next week! Happy Days, Marilyn ((HUGS))

  6. I so wish I was there under the falling blossoms for tea - it looks and sounds so romantic and English! Cherry blossom is so beautiful.

Happy weekend Marilyn - I'm very busy in the garden and the weather is lovely, BUT pollen is getting rough now! The gazebo will be calling at teatime as we have weekend temps. in the 80's.

    Love and hugs - Mary

  11. You are so wise to have captured the trees at their blossoming peak! I never realized before that our flowering trees were flowering for just a few short days. I thought of taking a photo, and poof, two days later there were green leaves and no more blossoms. Today it is raining, and the temperature is about to drop 20-something degrees, but I know the rain is making my plants happy.
