Summer time is suppose to be laid back and fun,
but sometimes life just gets poured on and swamped.
This week has been pouring rain, but the sun will soon come out.
So this a quick hello just to say Have a Great Weekend.
For me it is our neighborhood's garage sale, family, and tea time.
Be back on Monday.
Just to let you know for the month of August I will take Susannah Conway's
August Break, which is just posting a photo a day.
If anyone that blogs wants to play along,
you can find the information at susannahconway.com
I'm not sure your August break will be a break! We're due for rain this weekend and next week, too. Seems like there has been a lot this year!
ReplyDeleteThose water droplets on the flower look lovely! It has been threatening rain the last couple of days here, the sky is grey and gloomy and I don't really want to go out.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photograph - love the raindrops - very poetic.
ReplyDeleteYes life always includes a little rain at times Marilyn.
Enjoy your neighbourhood garage sale!
LOVELY, lovely rain-kissed image, Marilyn! Have fun this weekend and a lighter time here... That August Break sounds like a good idea. I may just join along too. August seems like a good time to slow down and enjoy. Happy Days ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteHi Margie - beautiful image of rains life-giving droplets - Happy weekend
ReplyDeleteLove Gail
peace.....
Lovely damp and dripping lily!
ReplyDeleteAwful damp weather here all week. Last night 2.5 " of rain fell and thunder crashed - and for a moment I thought I was in the Pacific Northwest, haha!
Even a picture a day will keep you busy….and keep us in touch which I love.
Hugs for the weekend - Mary
The rain refreshed the ground and garden and now it's warm and sunny again. We are headed for some hot days, are you?
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the rainy day!
ReplyDeleteLove how you captured the water droplets! Am certainly I will enjoy your daily photography during the month of August.
ReplyDeleteIt's raining here too, but at least the plants are happy to be getting it! Will look forward to your August photo series.
