I love miniature violets, but how do you display?
I put them in a large teacup, a simple cup;
but just enjoy the contrast so much.
Don't you just love those little flowers with the freckles?
“My breathe would catch at the sight of violets-so common in the woods at home, so surprising in the mountains. The violet's message was "Keep up your courage, stay true to what you believe in."

Violets have always been one of my favourite flowers, I even have them on my tattoo! :)
ReplyDeleteI haven't seen sweet little violets in ages. They remind me of my grandmother. She had a teeny tiny vase where she would put a tiny bouquet of them. Nice memories.
ReplyDeleteI love violets, any size will do! There are so many pretty varieties aren't there!? I love the wild ones that grow here.
ReplyDeleteSoooo charming is this, Marilyn! I've always loved violets, and they make the pretties rim around a cup! Such happy little flower... yes, they do encourage. :o) Happy Day ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteThis is SO pretty, Marilyn. I would never have thought to do that!
ReplyDeleteThe violets are beautiful against the backdrop of this cup and saucer -- so simple and elegant!
