Zinnias, just because I can't get enough of them.
The colors of early fall are enchanting me.
They capture my heart and hold me hostage.
They delight me as if with a song.
Oh to be surrounded with this beauty.
The zinnia is singing to my heart.
What is singing to your heart with the beginning of Autumn?
Very pretty!
ReplyDeleteZinnias always remind me of my Grandpa, he lived with us for a time and grew the most beautiful flowers. Zinnias were everywhere. Another thing I love that comes with Autumn is the scent that you get at no other time of the year. I can't help but go outside and just breathe as deep as I can.
ReplyDeleteI adore the jewel colours of zinnias.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to planting up some planters with them once I see them at the garden centre!
Wow! I love the mix of colours! I saw a quote today, 'nature has the best box of crayons.' so true!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers - like little brightly painted ballerinas in tutus, pirouetting through the garden. I've never had luck growing them here due to the Summertime humidity - they get rust I believe.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs - Mary
Zinnias are one of my very favorites. I love them! These are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLOVE ZINNIAS!! **SWOON**... I love orange and pink zinnias together... At the moment we're having almost a Indian Summer, which has been lovely. But admiring the touches of red and gold happening among the trees... Happy Days, Marilyn ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteI had this reaction to a mass planting of Black-eyed Susans I saw when I was at a zoo in Wisconsin last weekend. Lovely!
