The Sequoia's in Mariposa Grove, Yosemite
truly impressed my heart.
They were magnificent!
The first 5 photos are in the Grove.
For the perspective of the root system.
All the trees along our adventure were just stunning.
Even the Coastal Redwoods too.
Does a beautiful tree make your heart sing?
It truly does just that for me.
God's sense of beauty in creating a tree is awesome.
"Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life,
flowing from (the Creator)....on either side.....the tree of life."
~John of Patmos
I was touched by those magnificent trees,
the majesty of life.
You captured the beauty so nicely.
ReplyDeleteMy grandmother had a framed copy of Joyce Kilmer's poem "Trees" hanging on her dining room wall. I've always loved the meaning of it.
Beautiful photos, Marilyn. I drove through the redwoods years ago and remember how awesome they were. I remember one that was big enough that cars could drive through a gap in the base. Hope to make it back someday.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a redwood and these amazing photos just blow me away. How majestic.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous trees. The root system is amazing.
ReplyDeleteSeeing Redwoods in real life is one of my dreams!
ReplyDeleteThe trees are magnificent. We have examples of sequoias in our city botanical gardens with information about them, but walking in a grove of them must be amazing.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, even that root system is just beautiful! Right now, I am enjoying the beautiful Bradford Pears blooming in the front yard.
ReplyDeleteA.m.a.z.i.n.g. Love the photo with your gardener and the root system... wow!
