My niece has described jumping fences with horses as 'flying'. I believe she has sampled the exuberance of this adventure and truly longs for it when she is at home. And I love flying (not on horses)... but do look skyward wishing to be having another adventure!
Oh for a fabulous hood ornament such as that! Well in all honesty, I'll take the entire motor car with it please! Jasmin flew back from her California vacation at Paula's lake yesterday - we tracked her flights online, Reno to Chicago to Raleigh - seeing some mighty big storms (she said she never knew as they must have been above them) - and arrived home safely. We often just look up at passing planes wondering where they're off to, or coming from (airport's not far from us), and always look forward to the next time we are 'flying high' and heading somewhere exciting. We'll be leaving again come late September.
WOW... gorgeous hood ornament... And I love how you've used sky and earth to express flying and flight... I've learned to enjoy flight--by plane at least! It took a while, as I never liked high places. Something I'd like to do some day is a hot air balloon ride! This would be big for me, being still shaky with heights... LOL! It'll be a while until we fly again. In the meantime will enjoy the birds in motion... Happy Week, Marilyn ((HUGS))
