Death is always sad which makes living every day so important.
Our waiter on Sat. evening was a young artist/sculptor graduate - trying out different cities to choose one to live and make his art. He hopes to move to Portland next - I told him all about Lan Su Garden there and that he should definitely go see how beautiful it is.

What a sad loss for us all. I just watched him on PBS not that long ago. Such an inspiration. I love this quote.
