Small Treats

Isn't this the perfect paper cut for a tea lady?

Vintage red embroidery recently found at my favorite "fairy shop".
It says "Splish Splash" and has birds splashing in a bird bath.
Now it covers the pillow on the bed awaiting a guest in my office/bedroom.
I love the small treats found recently at a side walk sale at Bella Flora.
Just what I wanted, though I didn't know it until I saw them.
Small treats are the best.

Do you love finding "small treats"?

The secret to a happy life is continuous small treats.

  1. I love them both, especially the papercut! I remember there was a short time in the 90s when papercuts were all the rage for illustrating picture books! It was a wonderful time!

  8. Lovely scherenschnitte! I have one with a tea pot cutout, but not nearly as intricate as the one shown here.
