Sun and Rain

Delight in the Sun
The birds sing their song of JOY
Refreshed by the rain
~haiku, m.miller

I love the beauty that surrounds me,
right in my own back yard.
From the doves sitting in the big tree
to the raindrops on roses.

Notice what you notice each and every day.
Have an extra special weekend, dear friends!

  1. Your photos are breathtaking dear Marilyn!
Is that a Moss rose or maybe even a Rugosa?
The soft blue perennial - can you tell me the name of it please - I HAVE to have it in my garden too and I'll call it Marilyns flower! And then that soft pink dahlia - I want that in my garden too - Marilyn's Dahlia!
A beautiful post that makes me long for my summer garden to arrive.
    Love your Haiku.

  4. Your photos are stunning. Oh, those gorgeous pinks and blues -- what a treasure -- or I should say, treasures -- lie in your garden! This just is the perfect way to begin my morning!

  6. Love images of raindrops on roses … and other flowers. I used to think it "messed up" my photo opp if it rained, but now I see it as a new form of beauty, another texture.
