Not Only is the Pumpkin on the Vine

Pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkins on porches,
and pumpkins on our heads.
Costumes delight.
Masks that scare.
Our porches turn on the lights.
A pumpkin or two sitting there to light the way.
Pumpkins enchant us.
They delight.
Tucked in a nest oh so right.
Celebrate autumn with a pumpkin or two.
For each season is reason for celebration, laughter, dancing, and fun!

    Each and every one is a perfect vignette, Marilyn. Aren't they awfully pretty -- so colorful, so cheery! Oh, I'm in the mood!

    FUN ode to this time, Marilyn... I had pumpkin for Halloween this weekend. And look forward to pumpkin pie in a few weeks for Thanksgiving. Any way you serve it, love me some pumpkin. ;o) Have a sweet & spooktacular Hallowen! ((HUGS))
