Some days are just like this, a balancing act.
Jobs, relationships, feeding our tummies.
In hot water!
Take pause!
Feed your soul.
Sip a cup of tea.
Soak in bubbles.
Read a book.
Stare out the window or
go for a walk in the outdoors.
This sculpture found on a street in Sebastopol, California.
Doesn't it look like she is running through a cup of hot water?
She looks a bit frazzled.
Do you feel like that some days?
Take a pause moment and smile.
You are strong, take JOY!
I've had several of those kind of days recently. I pray for better days ahead!
ReplyDeleteToday was one of those days. This cheered me up and made me smile!
ReplyDeleteYes, there always seems to be some of those days Marilyn. I love the sculpture.

That's adorable. . . . . . yes we all have such days but you obviously have some great tips here to overcome the stress and upset which they come Marilyn!
ReplyDeleteI'm heading to my first 'Holiday Shopping Show" later this morning - something I've missed for a few years as I've been traveling November! I planned to walk as it's not far but, as it's horrible out with more rain falling, I think I'll have to drive there so I won't arrive looking like a drowned rat! Perhaps throw on rainwear later though and take a walk through the leaves - I need fresh air which will help with stress which creeps up around this time of year Why do we do this to ourselves????
Love and hugs - Mary
I have a feeling I am going to look like your metal lady very soon! It's the last few days before our art sale/show next weekend. We load in on Wednesday and I am pricing, photographing, framing, repairing, touching up, packaging and more -- and I still have to bake cookies or appetizers for the opening reception! Then fill a couple of mail orders who said they could wait till after the show. It will be fun. But I'll really need to remember these words of wisdom!
ReplyDeleteIsn't she fun--what a great sculpture! Oh, yes, I have day where I feel like that--where everything's just going to tip over... LOL! Thankfully such days are few and far between, or seem so anyway! And these day as we race toward Thanksgiving and Christmas often feel a bit frazzled... LOL! Happy Days, Marilyn ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteSuch a unique sculpture! There are many days I feel like this!
