Pink Delights Me!

Did you ever say, Pink, Pink, you Stink?
As kids I know I must have said that.
Though many little girls around me wore and loved pink,
I wouldn't have anything to do with it.
My mother wore a lot of pink and always looked good in it too.
I would say I would never like pink or wear it.
Well fast forward too many years to count.
Here I am with pink in my house
and sometimes I wear it.
There is a pink scarf that I wear occasionally
and everytime I do I get favorable comments.
Yikes!  I am becoming my mother.
I have warmed to pink now.
It does make me smile.

What color makes you smile?

  3. Pink is my mother's favorite color, too. I've always been partial to blue but can appreciate a bit of pink. It's very flattering to the skin (usually), and looks so pretty in decor, as you've well illustrated with your images.
