Did you ever say, Pink, Pink, you Stink?
As kids I know I must have said that.
Though many little girls around me wore and loved pink,
I wouldn't have anything to do with it.
My mother wore a lot of pink and always looked good in it too.
I would say I would never like pink or wear it.
Well fast forward too many years to count.
Here I am with pink in my house
and sometimes I wear it.
There is a pink scarf that I wear occasionally
and everytime I do I get favorable comments.
Yikes! I am becoming my mother.
I have warmed to pink now.
It does make me smile.
What color makes you smile?
Lovely Sadler teapot!

I love that corner and I love this post! I have also recently confessed that I love pink. What a beautiful moment.
ReplyDeletePink is my mother's favorite color, too. I've always been partial to blue but can appreciate a bit of pink. It's very flattering to the skin (usually), and looks so pretty in decor, as you've well illustrated with your images.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. Pink or aqua...
ReplyDeleteVery pretty! Pink is a colour that grew on me. My favourites are still purple and yellow.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely collection of rosy pink still lifes! I'm wanting to walk into every frame and settle in for a good and cozy conversation! Lovely photos. Pink is an uplifting color!
ReplyDeleteHere's to a pink day!
Your table and vignette with this sweet teapot and teacup are wonderful! Love it all!
ReplyDeleteI think I have always loved pink, and your pink tea table and flowers are beautiful!
