It seems these days little girls wear their tutu's everywhere,
even in the sandbox.
Have you seen the posts on Facebook that says:
Don't let people discourage you........
Just fluff out your tutu and dance away.
So let's fluff our tutu's and dance away.
Be brave, silly, and smile even when you feel like crying.
As it is said, each day is a gift.
Be present and enjoy.
Delight in the day!

How lovely were the childhood days in tutus and ballet slippers - my cousin and I used to wear black leather ballet shoes everywhere in Summer AND we pretended we were French!!!
ReplyDeleteTwirl away dear Marilyn!
Hi Marilyn. I love the picture. When you think about it how could you not be calm content and brave while wearing a tutu. I don't think it is even possible.
ReplyDeleteHello Marilyn,
ReplyDeleteMy granddaughters love their tutus and twirly skirts and would wear them everywhere! Life is too short not to!
Sooo sweet!! My youngest niece is still tutu crazy at 7--wears 'em everywhere! She's not happy unless she's wearing fluff and sparkles to the max. ;) i LOVED the ballet as a child, and at 5 I wanted to be a ballerina. Funnily, I never took a lesson, but still sweetly recall those old dreams. Never wore a tutu around like young girls to these days. We need some grown up tutus! Here's to pirouettes... ((HUGS))
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable! My only tutu was from ballet class -- and believe me, I didn't even want to wear it to the recital!
