The Experience of Tea

Taking a step back in time I am remembering
surroundings where I enjoyed a cup of tea.
The first tea time near Mt. Hood by Trillium Lake.
Sitting with a friend by the rushing waters of the Lewis River.
On a roof top in Rome, Italy.
Dreaming of tea time at Pompeii.
Tea time in the rain with two special girls.
In the snow in my own back yard.
 In my own bed.
And at the Rose Gardens.

In the years that I have been writing Delights of the Heart
and sharing with you I realized I love sharing the experience of tea.
Taking tea with me around the world or in my own backyard
delights me.
In the next few weeks from time to time I will reminisce on
places I have had tea with the hope that it will inspire you
to travel with tea and surround yourself with beauty.

Where have you taken tea?
