Taking a step back in time I am remembering
surroundings where I enjoyed a cup of tea.
The first tea time near Mt. Hood by Trillium Lake.
Sitting with a friend by the rushing waters of the Lewis River.
On a roof top in Rome, Italy.
Dreaming of tea time at Pompeii.
Tea time in the rain with two special girls.
In the snow in my own back yard.
In my own bed.
And at the Rose Gardens.
In the years that I have been writing Delights of the Heart
and sharing with you I realized I love sharing the experience of tea.
Taking tea with me around the world or in my own backyard
delights me.
In the next few weeks from time to time I will reminisce on
places I have had tea with the hope that it will inspire you
to travel with tea and surround yourself with beauty.
Oh how lovely Marilyn;
ReplyDeleteAnd tea everywhere is what you enjoy! I loved the snow one best! Thanks for sharing and linking.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteWell just to name a few. . . . . . many English tea rooms, the Empress Hotel in Victoria, B.C., the African bush in Botswana, a farm house garden on the Falkland Islands, and of course Lan Su Garden and tea house in Portland with you and Jim, our lovely friends!!!!

Loved all the tea time locations you shared - each one very special and unique unto itself.
ReplyDeleteI love the idea of your new series! And I especially love that any place is a good place for tea if you are with Marilyn!
