Christmas Blessings!

Time to sit and sip a cup of tea.
Take a moment to savor the moments with celebration in your heart.
May your Christmas be all of that, plus PEACE in the world.
That is my prayer for Christmas and the New Year.
May it continue in our hearts all year long.
The angels, shepherds, wise men, Mary, Joseph, and the Babe gathered together in song.
A few nibbles to go along with your tea.
Small bits of fruitcake with dried fruit and pistachios in the bowl.
Christmas wreaths of toast, cream cheese mixed with chopped bell pepper,
then decorated with pomegranate seeds and oregano leaves.
They were delicious and quite festive.
Then this song touched my heart as I sat in concert just last night.

Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has come to make you new?
This Child that you delivered will soon deliver you.
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know
that your baby boy will calm the storm with His hand?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy has walked where angels trod?
When you kiss your little Baby you kiss the face of God?
Mary did you know.. Mary did you know
The blind will see.
The deaf will hear.
The dead will live again.
The lame will leap.
The dumb will speak
The praises of The Lamb.
Mary did you know
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know
that your Baby Boy would one day rule the nations?
Did you know
that your Baby Boy is heaven's perfect Lamb?
The sleeping Child you're holding is the Great, I Am.
Mary did you know.

Enjoy the spirit of Christmas and hold it in your heart.
Sending Love from me to you!
Happy weekend, dear friends.

  2. An uplifting post, Marilyn. It's uplifting to see the children's Nativity play. The words and music of the song touch my heart. It's one of my favourite Christmas songs. The nibbles look pretty and must have been delicious to eat. Wishing you and your family love, peace and joy this Christmas.

  4. Happy Christmas dear - may all be fun and festive and full of good moments.
Nice to be here in England with special people but brought a rotten cold along from the ship so not feeling my best! Hope I can taste the Christmas goodies as we celebrate with family this afternoon looking out over the beautiful bay.
    Love, Mary
